As part of the council’s commitment to providing a better service to customers, a single reception desk now deals with all enquiries. Inbound telephone calls are handled by the Customer Contact Centre, which is also located in the building.
An ‘information zone’ has been created, which includes self-service computer terminals to enable customers to access the new website.
Councillor Peter Amos, Leader of the Council, commented “I am delighted that these much-needed works were complete, on time and under budget.”
